The web app at diamondops.gg shipped two updates since the last write-up: 1.30 on October 26 and 1.31 on November 2. The headline is a feature I’ve wanted since before DiamondOps had a name: a lineup builder that works from the cards you actually own. The iPhone and iPad app is still on 1.3, and everything below is live on the web now.
My Best Lineup
Tell it a difficulty, and My Best Lineup builds your best team from your own synced inventory: nine hitters, five starters, a closer and seven relievers. Pick All-Star, Hall of Fame or Legend and it re-picks for that level.
- It only uses cards you own, so the lineup is one you can field tonight, not a wish list.
- It’s free for every signed-in member.
- It replaces the old RosterOps “Coming soon” page. Lineup building now lives inside DiamondOps, where your cards already are.
Show News, the long version
Show News recaps used to be short. Now the big ones get a proper article: sectioned breakdowns with rewards by step, costs, the new cards, a contents box to jump around, and links straight to the programs. Show News is also featured on the News page and the home page, so it’s the first thing you see on a content drop.
Founders, made permanent
Founder status no longer ends if you cancel. Your Founder price and your spot in the Founders Hall stay yours. The Hall now shows every founder and is linked across the site, and Founders enrollment stays open until January 1, 2027, stated on every page so nobody misses it.
Pick your colors
A theme switcher in the header lets you dress the site in DiamondOps colors, the look of MLB The Show 21 through 26, or any of the 30 clubs.
Also new
- A public MLB 26 quick-sell values guide, with the break-even list price for each.
- Card pages say where to get each card.
- XP program rewards show as Reward XP instead of Stubs.
- K-Zone and record lookups keep working from cache when The Show’s servers are overloaded.
- Program rewards and claimed progress survive a re-import.
- The weekly email report has clearer wins, watch-outs and suggestions.
- A public Data Sources page explains where the numbers come from.
The detailed list is on the web changelog.
Next season
DiamondOps is getting ready for MLB The Show 27, with a fresh look on the way for the web and iPhone. I’ll say more when there’s something real to show.
