MLB The Show companion app for tracking opponent pitching patterns — iPhone and iPad
Q: What is PitchGuessr?
PitchGuessr is an MLB The Show companion app that helps you track your opponent's pitching patterns and predict where they'll throw next. During each at-bat, tap the zone where each pitch lands on a 25-zone grid. PitchGuessr builds a live heatmap of your opponent's tendencies and uses it to predict their next pitch — giving you a real competitive edge at the plate.
Q: Do I need an account to use PitchGuessr?
No account needed. PitchGuessr works without one — your data is stored privately on your iPhone or iPad. iCloud sync shipped in v1.2: when enabled, your opponents and pitch data sync through Apple’s CloudKit to your own private iCloud account, never to our servers. Turn it off any time in iOS Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → PitchGuessr.
Q: What devices are supported?
PitchGuessr supports iPhone and iPad running iOS 17.0 or later.
Q: What is the free tier vs Pro?
All tiers include unlimited at-bat tracking. Free is ad-supported with full access to the heatmap, predictions, pitch sequence view, both prediction models, and all three Pitch Recall Modes. Lite ($2.99/year) removes all ads. Pro ($9.99/year) adds the scouting layer: Predictability Score, Situational Tendencies, the Recency Window, Auto Insights, Zone Splits, Strike Rate Panel, saved opponents with lineup management, historic data across sessions, and Raw mode.
Q: How do predictions work?
PitchGuessr uses two built-in models. The Matchup Model filters predictions by the current count and handedness matchup — best after a few at-bats are logged. The Standard Model looks across all pitches regardless of situation — useful early when data is limited. Both models update live as you log pitches.
MLB The Show 26 pitch tunneling assistant for iPhone and iPad
Q: What is pitch tunneling?
Pitch tunneling is a strategy where you throw two consecutive pitches that look identical until the batter must commit — then break in different directions. PitchTunnels shows you exactly which pitch combinations create this deception using your pitcher's specific arsenal.
Q: Which versions of MLB The Show does PitchTunnels support?
This version of PitchTunnels covers MLB The Show 26. A new version will be released each year — PitchTunnels '27 will launch when MLB The Show 27 releases.
Q: Does PitchTunnels require an internet connection or account?
No. PitchTunnels is 100% offline. No account, no login, no internet required. All your pitchers and data are stored locally on your device.
Q: How do I add a pitcher?
Tap the + button on the Pitchers screen. Enter the pitcher's name, set their handedness, then add each pitch type from their arsenal in MLB The Show. You can edit or delete pitchers at any time.
Q: Is PitchTunnels accessible?
Yes. PitchTunnels includes full VoiceOver support, Dynamic Type, and has been designed with accessibility in mind throughout.
Diamond Dynasty market intelligence — OpScore ratings, flips, Diamond Radar, and collection tracking at diamondops.gg
Q: What is DiamondOps?
DiamondOps is the Diamond Dynasty market-intelligence suite for MLB The Show. It combines OpScore difficulty-aware ratings, profit-ranked flips, market intelligence, collection tracking, and Diamond Radar upgrade detection into one platform — now on the App Store for iPhone & iPad and on the web at diamondops.gg. It's live with a genuinely useful free tier (ad-supported) plus Lite and Pro, with Diamond coming soon. The first 100 members can lock in lifetime Founder pricing through November 1, 2026.
Q: What is Diamond Radar?
Diamond Radar flags Live Series cards likely to receive an OVR upgrade before the next SDS update window — before the price spike happens. It's designed to surface timing opportunities you'd otherwise miss. The free tier covers Common & Bronze cards in full — every prediction column, not a preview — and Pro widens it to every rarity.
Q: Do I need the DiamondOps Chrome Extension?
The free tier (card browser, Diamond Radar on Common & Bronze, the full flip board, sales velocity and trending) works without the extension. Portfolio tracking and Buried Gems need your card collection synced: on the DiamondOps iOS app that sync is built in, and on desktop the Chrome Extension (Chrome-only) handles it.
Q: Is DiamondOps affiliated with Sony or MLB?
No. DiamondOps is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Sony Interactive Entertainment or Major League Baseball. MLB The Show is a registered trademark of Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC.
