PitchTunnels v1.4 has been on the App Store since October 19, 2026, and it's our biggest update since v1.3. You can now watch your pitches fly from the catcher's view, see a tunnel split in slow motion, and read every rating in the colors you already know from your cards. It's also the last feature update for MLB The Show 26, so we made it count.
Pitch Guide: Watch Every Pitch Fly
Pitch Guide has always ranked every pitch type by meta tier. Now it shows you the pitch too. Watch each pitch fly from the catcher's view and see how far its spin moves it from a no-spin throw, for right- and left-handed pitchers.
Tunnel Breakdown in Slow Motion Pro
A tunnel is two pitches that look the same out of the hand and split late. Tunnel Breakdown now shows you that directly. A slow-motion replay from the catcher's view shows the tunnel's two pitches leaving the hand on the same line and splitting late. It replaces the old movement plot.
Ratings in Card Colors
- Pitching attribute bars now measure to 125, The Show's ceiling, not 99. Each bar takes the card-tier color of its value, with Red Diamond for 95 and up, and it reads clearly in light and dark mode
- OVR numbers now take their card-tier color on My Pitchers, Active Roster, Add Players and the matchup picker
Location Fixes
The biggest change here is one you won't see on a single screen. The Attack Plan, the Pitch Sequencer and tunnel results now share one matchup. Pick the pitcher and the batter once and every screen follows. Before, they could describe two different hitters at the same time.
- Fixed an up-and-away sinker recommendation against right-handed hitters from a left-handed pitcher. It now matches the mirror matchup
- The changeup and circle change are now targeted down and away in every matchup. One matchup was aiming them at the middle
- Location arrows now flip correctly for left-handed hitters. Against a lefty they used to point the opposite way from the strike-zone diagram
- Curveball, knuckle-curve, 12-6 curve and forkball targets now follow each pitch's break and match for left- and right-handed pitchers
- Targets on the Pitch Locator, Attack Plan and tunnel strike zones can sit beside the zone or straddle its edge, with an oval for each pitch
- The Pitch Locator, Attack Plan and Tunnel Details now show the pitcher on a mound and the batter in the batter's box, instead of a badge in the corner
- When one pitch's targets touch, the Pitch Locator draws them as one upright oval with one label
- The Location Guide names every pitch that shares a target, instead of drawing one on top of another
- Chase targets now stay outside the strike zone instead of spilling back over its edge
Clearer Recommendations
Every pitch recommendation now spells out the location in words, like "Low & Away" or "Middle In", so you don't have to work out what an arrow means. The tunnel detail screen's order section is now headed "Pitch Order", the same name Help and VoiceOver use.
