PitchTunnels v1.3.1 — Pitch Locations Fixed, Every Screen in Agreement

PitchTunnels v1.3.1 has been on the App Store since August 27, 2026. It's a small update with one job: put every pitch where it belongs, and make sure every screen in the app says the same thing about where that is.

It started with a player who wrote in. Two of their reports, both involving left-handed hitters, showed that the app was getting a pitch location wrong, and that Pitch Locator could disagree with the rest of the app. Both are fixed in v1.3.1.

Cutter Locations Corrected

A cutter breaks glove side. That means it runs away from a same-handed hitter and in on an opposite-handed one, the pitch a righty uses to jam left-handed hitters. PitchTunnels had it on the wrong side in some matchups, and v1.3.1 corrects it.

Pitch Locator Agrees With Everything Else

Pitch Locator used to keep its own set of target zones, separate from the rest of the app. Most of the time they matched. When they didn't, Pitch Locator could tell you one thing while the Tunnels tab told you another.

• Pitch Locator now agrees with the Tunnels tab, Attack Plan and Pitch Sequencer on every pitch, in every matchup
• Removed conflicting target zones that could show a pitch on both sides of the plate at once
• Targets now sit on the edge of the zone, and chase pitches — the high fastball and the changeup — draw outside it

Meta Update: Circle Change to S-Tier

The Circle Change moved up to S-tier. It's now rated with the Sinker, Cutter, Sweeper and 4-Seam as a top-five pitch, and recommendations account for it.

Pitch Sequencer Shows Your Whole Arsenal Pro

The Sequencer leads with its top three picks for the next pitch. The rest of your arsenal used to be easy to miss. Now the Sequencer tells you how many more pitches are ranked below the top three, so you know there's more to choose from.
