PitchTunnels v1.2.1 — Now Free With Ads, New Lite Tier

PitchTunnels v1.2.1 changes how you get into the app. The old model had a 7-day free trial, then you hit a paywall. That's gone. Now every feature is available to every user from the moment you download — free, no trial, no timer. If you want to remove ads or unlock the Pro tools, there are tiers for that. But the core experience? Completely open.

Here's what changed.

New 3-Tier Pricing

The free trial is dead. The intro pricing is gone. PitchTunnels now has three clean tiers:

• Free ($0) — every feature unlocked, with banner and interstitial ads. Chase pitch tunnels, shuffle through matchups, browse the full MLB 26 pitcher catalog, save unlimited favorites, access every pitcher in the database. Zero restrictions on functionality.
• Lite ($2.99/year) — identical to Free, but with zero ads. No banners, no interstitials, no interruptions. Just tunnels.
• Pro ($9.99/year) — everything in Lite plus Attack Plan (full at-bat sequencing with count-aware strategy) and Pitch Locator (zone-level pitch placement overlays).

That's it. No monthly plan. No free trial. No intro pricing that expires. $9.99/year is the standard Pro price going forward.

Everything Unlocked for Free Users

This is the big one. Previously, free users got a limited taste during the trial and then hit a wall. Now free users get the full experience:

• Chase pitch tunnels — the core tunnel recommendation engine, fully available
• Shuffle — randomize through pitcher matchups to discover new approaches
• MLB 26 catalog — every pitcher in the full MLB The Show 26 database
• Unlimited pitchers — no cap on how many pitchers you can browse or analyze
• Favorites — star and sync your go-to pitchers across devices
• Sign in with Apple — optional account for favorites sync and catalog updates

The only things behind the Pro paywall are Attack Plan and Pitch Locator — advanced tools that power users want, but that aren't required to get value from the app.

No More Free Trial

The 7-day free trial created a weird pressure. You'd download the app, feel like you had to use it immediately to get your money's worth, and if you didn't get around to it within the week, the trial expired and you bounced. Bad experience.

Now there's no clock. Download PitchTunnels whenever. Use it whenever. If you play Diamond Dynasty once a month, great — the app is there when you need it. If you play every day, even better. No urgency, no guilt, no expiration.
