PitchGuessr v1.4 has been on the App Store since October 20, 2026. It's a short one, and it's a milestone: this is the final feature update for MLB The Show 26. From here until The Show 27 arrives, any PitchGuessr updates will be bug fixes only.
Why stop adding features now? Because we're putting everything into what comes next. More on that below. First, what's in v1.4.
Privacy & Ads
v1.4 gives you a clearer say in how ads work. If you play on the free tier, PitchGuessr now asks before it tracks you for ads. If you're on Lite or Pro, you're never asked, because there are no ads to track you for.
- Free players are now asked before PitchGuessr tracks them for ads. Lite and Pro players are never asked
- New in Settings: Privacy Options, to review your ad consent where your region requires it
Nothing changes about your scouting data. Your opponents, sessions and pitches still live on your device and in your own iCloud account. You still don't need an account to play.
Everything You Already Use Is Still Here
v1.4 keeps everything from earlier versions: v1.3's Auto Insights (Predictability Score and Situational Tendencies) and Recency Window for Pro, v1.2's Zone Splits, Strike Rate Panel and Pitch Recall Modes, and unlimited free tracking on every tier. If you're still grinding the Show 26 season, PitchGuessr is ready for it. The full history is in the changelog.
What's Next: PitchGuessr 2.0
PitchGuessr 2.0 is coming with MLB The Show 27. We're rebuilding it for the new season: new cards, new data, smarter tools, more ways to scout your opponent, and a fresh look. We can't wait to show you. Check for PitchGuessr 2.0 when The Show 27 releases, and keep an eye on the PitchGuessr page for news.
Pricing Is Unchanged
Still three tiers: Free with ads and unlimited tracking, Lite at $2.99/year for the same app without ads, and Pro at $9.99/year for advanced stats.
