Today we launched two new iOS apps for competitive MLB The Show players — PitchGuessr and PitchTunnels — both free to download on the App Store for iPhone and iPad.
Both apps are available right now with the release of MLB The Show 26. They work on iPhone and iPad (iOS 17+), require no account, and store all your data on-device. No servers, no subscriptions required to get started.
PitchGuessr
Track opponent pitching patterns in MLB The Show and predict where the next pitch is going. Log pitch locations at-bat by at-bat, build heatmaps, and get count-specific predictions — all on your phone, between pitches.
Download FreePitchTunnels
Build pitch sequences using real 2024 MLB Statcast data. Add any pitcher from MLB The Show, get ranked tunnel recommendations, and run Attack Plan to sequence full 3-pitch at-bats with animated ball paths.
Download FreeWe built these for ourselves first — PitchGuessr grew out of years of tracking pitches on a whiteboard and paper templates, and PitchTunnels came from a stack of laminated scouting charts we kept next to the TV. Both tools existed in janky form long before they were apps. This is the polished version.
If you play MLB The Show online — Diamond Dynasty, ranked, whatever — give them a shot. Both are free to start. No setup, no account. Download and go.
Follow the blog for release notes, strategy posts, and devlogs as both apps continue to develop. v1.1 for PitchGuessr is already in progress.
