RetroGhostLabs ("we," "us," or "our") operates iOS mobile applications including PitchTunnels, PitchGuessr, Album Quest, and RosterOps (collectively, the "Apps"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Apps.

Per-App Data Summary

Different apps in our portfolio have different data practices. Here is a plain-language summary:

• PitchTunnels: Collects no personal data. 100% offline. All pitcher data you create is stored locally on your device only. No account required. No analytics. No internet connection required.
• PitchGuessr: No account required. Pitch tracking data is stored locally on your device only. Pro subscription is processed by Apple via StoreKit — we receive no payment or account details. iCloud sync is planned for v1.1 and is not yet active in v1.0.
• Album Quest: Requires Apple Music permission to access your listening library. No account required. Listening data and badges are stored locally. Optional iCloud sync uses your own Apple account.
• RosterOps: Coming Q4 2026. Privacy details will be added upon launch.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Create (Stored Locally)

Some Apps allow you to create data that is stored only on your device:

• PitchTunnels: Pitcher names, pitch arsenals, and handedness settings you enter. Stored on-device only via Apple's SwiftData framework. Never transmitted to us.
• PitchGuessr: Pitch tracking data and session history. Stored on-device only. iCloud sync is planned for v1.1 and is not active in v1.0 — all data remains on your device.
• Album Quest: Badge progress, listening history, and preferences. Stored on-device.

1.2 Purchase Information

When you purchase a paid app or subscription, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive only a confirmation that a purchase was made — we do not receive your payment details, Apple ID, or billing information.

1.3 Support Communications

If you contact us at support@retroghostlabs.com, we receive and store your email address and the contents of your message in order to respond to your inquiry.

1.4 Third-Party Services (App-Specific)

• Apple MusicKit (Album Quest only): Album Quest requests permission to access your Apple Music library. This is processed entirely by Apple — we do not store or transmit your music data to our servers.
• Apple App Store: All purchases and subscriptions are managed by Apple. See Apple's Privacy Policy for details on what Apple collects during transactions.

PitchTunnels and PitchGuessr do not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information we collect only to:

• Provide and improve our Apps
• Process in-app purchases and subscriptions (via Apple)
• Respond to your support requests
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or marketing without your explicit consent.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

3.1 We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for any purpose.

3.2 No Third-Party Analytics or Advertising

PitchTunnels and PitchGuessr do not include third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking libraries. We do not collect usage statistics or behavioral data.

3.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of RetroGhostLabs, our users, or others.

3.4 Business Transfers

If RetroGhostLabs is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

4. Data Storage and Security

For Apps that store data locally (PitchTunnels, PitchGuessr), your data never leaves your device unless you choose to use iCloud sync. Apple's iOS platform provides encryption for data stored on your device.

Support emails are stored securely with our email provider. We do not store unnecessary personal information.

5. Your Rights and Choices

5.1 Local Data Deletion

For Apps that store data locally (PitchTunnels, PitchGuessr), you can delete all app data at any time by deleting the app from your device. This permanently removes all locally stored data.

5.2 Support Data Deletion

To request deletion of any support emails or communications we hold, contact us at privacy@retroghostlabs.com. We will process your request within 30 days.

5.3 MusicKit Permissions (Album Quest)

You can revoke Apple Music access at any time through iOS Settings > Privacy > Media & Apple Music.

5.4 Subscription Management

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. You can cancel at any time via iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Apps are rated 4+ and are safe for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. PitchTunnels collects no personal information whatsoever. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, contact us at privacy@retroghostlabs.com.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when we launch new apps or add new features. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our Apps after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
